The Capital City Chamber of Commerce Board is pleased to announce the installment of Katrina Tuggerson as the Capital City Chamber of Commerce- Interim Chair.

Ms. Tuggerson served as the Secretary for this organization which provides leadership, and advocacy for small businesses in Tallahassee. Ms. Tuggerson is the Director of Financial Empowerment and Community Development for Tallahassee LeonFederal Credit Union and in this role she fosters multiple programs to benefit corporate clients, community groups, and youth financial empowerment seminars. 

Ms. Tuggerson has been instrumental in planning and execution of many community projects; just to name a few- CareerSource Capital Region – Innovation Talent Summit, Tallahassee Futures Leaders Academy – City of Tallahassee, Leon County – Dynamics Program, FAMU- Credit Union Black Business Loan Program, Community Kick-Off Celebration, Small Business Community Press Conference. etc

The Capital City Chamber of Commerce started in 1994 and has witnessed a spike in leadership and has facilitated an expanded presence across Tallahassee.

Tuggerson has worked with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University for 13 years and the Leon County Economic Development Council.

Tuggerson plans to use methods that work for today’s collaborative economy. The Capital City Chamber of Commerce will provide customized business advisory and growth services for both emerging entrepreneurs and the experienced traditional business owners.
